Week starting 10th November 2008 - the last bit down!

A final push to get the last bit of the building down. Then all the rubbish out of the way. All the stone stacked ready for re-using. Then Sandy (originally from Glasgow) arrives with this pecking machine and begins to work his way through the bed-rock. Already 140 ton of walling stone has been saved, approximately 120 tons of rubble removed and now a further 100 ton of bed-rock is cleared from the site. In the end there is a flat clear site and a start can be made to prepare for the concrete raft that is going to form the start of the buildings re-emergence.
